A Mission of Caring
The mission of Residences on Forrest Lane and our parent company, Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing Inc., is to serve elderly and disabled individuals by providing quality housing, healthcare and other services to enhance the lives of those we serve.
As a 501c3 non-profit our main goal is service, not making a profit. Any profit realized above our operating expenses is reinvested in our facilities. Because of our mission of high-quality service, we rely partially on financial gifts to help meet all of our financial needs. Although we accept Medicaid, our expenses for quality care and housing far exceed those funds. If you are interested in supporting our mission to positively impact the lives of seniors, please consider a tax-deductible cash donation to Wellington Place at Hartford. Use the easy, secure Donation button to give online, or contact our Administrator.
All donations are tax deductible and funds received are used to help improve our building, help improve or increase the services we offer, and help provide new programs and equipment to enrich the lives of our residents. Thank you for your continued support!
Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing, Inc. (WISH) is a non-profit corporation and began in 1989 with the purpose of operating skilled nursing homes, assisted livings, and other senior housing entities so that quality housing and healthcare would be available to seniors. Today, WISH owns 17 facilities in Wisconsin, and one in northern Illinois.
In 2006, WISH acquired six Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs). These sister facilities were placed into a single corporation under WISH called Wellington Homes of Wisconsin, LLC. Wellington Place of Biron is one of these six assisted living facilities located in central and SE Wisconsin.
All WISH facilities are managed by Carriage Healthcare Co. Inc., a seasoned healthcare management company with proven policies and procedures that help facilities run at their best. Together, CHC and WISH share the philosophy of meeting the needs of our elder population with quality care and housing options. In addition to managing WISH's facilities, CHC also manages two other facilities: one in northern Wisconsin and one in New Mexico. Carriage brings vast management experience, and provides the latest tools and technology, policies, and staffing resources, while keeping up with today's complicated mandates that affect senior care.
No matter which WISH facility you visit, you will find the same caring staff, continuity of services, and a quality facility dedicated to serving our senior population.
